I've spent much of my life traveling, drawn to unusual places: ruined cities, strange coastlines, landscapes that seem to run on another logic. Those places are where my paintings begin. Art and exploration have been my two lifelong pursuits, and each keeps feeding the other.
I paint ordinary objects into impossible places.
Surreal by setting, not distortion. I render each thing exactly as it is, then move it somewhere it could never belong.
